We have to plan for success. Especially when it comes to nutrition. Something that I have learned over the years is that when we do not meal plan we eat all sorts of things and forget about them.... A cookie here...a doughnut there.. When we forget we just had a cookie and a doughnut yesterday!
I take time on the weekends to plan out my weeks. I try to change it up each week a bit so I don't get bored with what I am eating. I also crave warm foods in the winter and fresh veggies in the summer. So my meal plans reflect that. I have been doing this 4 years now... so it's easy for me to do... but I understand it can be difficult and overbearing to begin.... but it doesn't have to be.

Today I want to share with you my current meal plan and also the form (click here and save a copy to edit) It will automatically calculate your servings. Now I am in a plan with a calorie target of 1200 - 1499 calories. This is calculated on my current weight and the fact I exercise every day. We can also figure you what plan you would be in if you are not exercising!!!! In my plan I get 4 one cup servings of veggies, 2 one cup servings of fruit, 4 three-fourth cup servings of protein, 2 half cup servings of carbs, 1 one forth cup serving of a healthy fat, 1 two tablespoon serving of seeds or dressings and 3 Teaspoons of oils and nut butters.
