‘Tis the most wonderful time of the year!

I am back! After having a few weeks off from writing. I am back! So much has changed! I am now a full time at home dog mom!

Right after Christmas we headed to see family and I spent a long weekend on little social media and a lot of nature time!

On January 6 I started my Masters Program in Human Nutrition.

On January 10 I said goodbye to the firm I had been working at for 10 years. It was bittersweet.

On January 10 I was offered a part-time virtual paralegal job.

Today, it’s been a full week since I left the office. I am staying pretty disciplined, but still trying to find what works for me.

My goals this year… by year end I want to replace the income I left at the firm as a full time Paralegal with my business income. I want to help 60 plus new clients this year! And I want to make all A’s and B’s in the Masters program.

Have you set goals for yourself for the year? Not resolutions… actual goals. Smart attainable goals?

I find it is easier to break the goals down into quarters Jan-March, April - June, July - September and October - December. Then break it down into months, weeks, finally days and on a Sunday plan your week and break it down into hours!

So let’s take my big goal of replacing my Income.

What that means is I need to grow my team.

What that means is I need to recruit more ladies who love health and fitness and want to help others live healthier too.

Every quarter I need to have helped at least 15 people.

I will also need to recruit 6 people by the end of the first quarter.

What that looks like monthly - if you think about the fact it is usually a 1:10 ratio for people you invite and people who may need the tools -5 new clients a month - 500 invites a month

It’s the same with recruits - 2 new a month - 200 invites

What that looks like weekly - 125 invites a week for new clients - 50 invites a week for new recruits.

Daily it means 25 invites for new clients (I am currently averaging 10) and 10 new invites for recruits (I currently average 2).

So I have some work to do! But you see when you break it down - it helps to figure out what you need to do and it does not feel so overwhelming!

As far as school goes - I just need to stay on top of the assignments and study hard for the tests!

I hope that this goal break down process helps you!

Let’s say you are not in business and you want to lose weight.

Say you want to lose 20 pounds by June.

Since the average weight lost is 2 pounds a week - this is definitely attainable.

You can use the app My Fitness Pal to plug in your goal and it will give you a calorie range. OR you can check out the workout programs I use that come with meal plans designed specially for that workout program and lose the weight that way.

Your choice!

I am always here to help.
